'If a child is unlikeable it's because their parents haven't raised them right': Childfree person catches heat for saying it's 'fine and normal' to dislike kids

If you want to make a lot of people really angry on the internet with minimum effort, there are few better topics to pick than children. Whether to have them or not, how they should behave, what spaces they should be allowed to be in—a seemingly innocuous post about any of these is enough to set off the argument from all sides.

As a result, it's no surprise that there was controversy to be found when one individual took it upon themselves to tell the internet that they thought it was "fine and normal" to dislike kids. Reasoning that they had many habits and behaviors that made them difficult to warm to, most people were unhappy with this bold statement. While everyone is entitled to their opinion on children, there's no denying that they aren't going to be completely wiped from the face of the earth so long as people exist.
